Web Design Portfolio

I have built a number of websites (including this one). I have several years' experience with PHP, SQL databases (particularly MySQL), HTML, CSS, and content management systems (especially Drupal). I can perform all steps of setting up a website, from the hosting to the development to the design and theme to search engine optimization. Use my contact form if you are interested in hiring me.

Programming

Everything listed below is a module (add-on extension) for the Drupal content management system.

Facebook-style Statues
Used by well over a thousand websites, the Facebook-style Statuses module builds microblogs for each user of a site, like Twitter and Facebook. Users can post messages to their own profiles or to other users' profiles, and can make @userreferences and #hashtags. I've also written other modules that add the ability to have comments on statuses and send automatic responses to certain administrator-defined statuses.
Used by several hundred websites, Tweet allows content to be easily posted to Twitter, including the (shortened) URL of the content and the content's title.
Shorten URLs
Used by several hundred websites, Shorten URLs provides an application programming interface (API) and graphical user interface (GUI) to shorten URLs with services like TinyURLs and bit.ly.
Application Toolbar
Provides a toolbar that stays at the bottom of the window (like Facebook's Application Bar) to hold links and an "alert" dialog (which shows updates from the site that are relevant to the current user).
User Deco
Allows users to add decorations (small images) to their profiles, which can be purchased with points earned from participation on a site.

Unreleased Modules

I have also written several modules for commercial projects that are not listed here.

Testimonials
Allows anyone to write a testimonial on a site or view others' testimonials, similar to a moderated site Guestbook.
Stats API
Collects statistics on content produced or monitored by other modules on a site.
P2FB (Post to Facebook)
Similar to the Tweet module, makes it easy to post content to Facebook.
Political Affiliation
Allows users to choose their political orientation (left/right) and also allows voting on other users' political orientation. Provides a weighted average displayed on a sliding scale for each user.
Online Status
Allows users to choose whether to be shown as "online" or "offline" when visiting a site.
Forum Jump
Allows quick and easy jumping from one forum (or a thread in that forum) to another forum via a dropdown selection.
Word of the Day
Presents a "Word of the Day" feature, including emails to subscribers.
